Downloading from HSN DatamachineThe process of downloading data from HSN Datamachine consists of several steps. If you are a first time user, you should register yourself. Then you can log in for downloading data. After you are logged in you are able to change your personal data and to make a selection of the data to be downloaded. Down left the screen will show your login status.
Downloading is only allowed for registered users and the data are only to be used for scientific or educational purposes. Redistribution of the data and commercial use is strictly forbidden. It's not allowed to use the data in order to search for additional information about individual persons, regardless of whether these persons are included in the database.
By registering, users commit themselves to the HSN license agreement for public releases based on the HSN-privacy regulations.
All publications, presentations, reports partly or wholly based on HSN-data should be yearly reported. The dataset must be cited properly by using the correct version name and number which is downloaded with the codebook.
